Flood Ford holds off Tigers, 5-1!
Led by the solid pitching of Cam Adamec and Brendan McCaffrey, Flood Ford up their league record to 10-1 on the year with a 5-1 road win over Tiverton.
Adamec, who pitched the first four innings, limited the Tigers to three hits and struck out six batters. McCaffrey struck out five batters in two innings of work and Robbie Whalen stuck out one and allowed one run in one inning.
Offensively, Flood Ford received key hits from Xavier Quezada (1/2, one run scored and two walks), Jack Hornstein (2/4, two rbi’s) and Robbie Whalen (1/4, one double and one rbi).
